His Blobbody
When Edwin places his crown on the top of the plushie, it transforms from cloth into something a little more smooth and amorphous, like a living blob of ferrofluid. Edwin can move around in it and experience the standard human range of sensations, including tasting things, although he can only 'eat' in about the same manner as a muppet - he can lick or mash things but not swallow. He can also speak out loud. The squish body will always be approximately the size and strength of a small cat but Edwin will be able to consciously modify both the limb configuration and the approximate surface texture. The crown will not fall off of it, and anyone who touches it while it's riding the body won't be affected by the crown unless Edwin deliberately relinquishes the plushy, or they pull him actively away from it.
